
Airpot® Air Damper
Airpot® Air Damper are specifically designed to provide unparalleled damping and energy dissipation accuracy by eliminating friction.
Airpot® air dampers offer the ideal solution for linear movements that require extremely uniform and controlled damping in the direction of impact and tension. The design, a high-precision glass cylinder paired with a precisely calibrated graphite piston cylinder, enables almost frictionless, respectively low-friction and self-lubricated linear movements. Airpot® air dampers are maintenance-free, wear-free, temperature-resistant (-55°C to +150°C) and allow versatile use for various applications. For example in medical technology, up to applications under clean room conditions.
Different strokes, optional piston rod versions and connections can be freely selected. It is also possible to adjust the damping of the Airpot® by means of an adjusting screw at the beginning of the cylinder. Glass cylinders and graphite pistons are also manufactured individually as OEM versions according to customer specifications.
