Both organic or inorganic adhesives & sealants are used to form strong, long-lasting bonds with a variety of substrates, including ceramics, metals, glass, and filled plastics, without the use of mechanical fastening and clamping.

Sealants are used to fill gaps between surfaces and keep things like dust, water, and dirt out. Adhesives are typically designed to bind two surfaces together so that they cannot be separated.
