MOLYKOTE® Metal Protector Plus is a wax solution, corrosion protection coating.
When stored at or below 20°C (68°F) in the original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production.
Composition:
Corrosion protection for metal parts that have to be stored or transported.
Apply to cleaned surfaces by dipping, spraying or painting. Drying time at room temperature is approximately 90 minutes. Several coats can be applied to enhance corrosion protection (letting them dry in between). Thinner coatings can be achieved by diluting with white spirit. By virtue of the compatibility of MOLYKOTE® Metal Protector Plus Wax Solution with common lubricants, there is usually no need to wash off the film before using the devices/equipment. Should this be necessary, it can be done with white spirit. After use, clean spray can valves by spraying inverted.
